The Verona In Love festival and the unique Valentine’s Day in Verona in 2023 will provide everyone the chance to spend four enchanted days in the city that served as the setting for one of the most moving love stories in romantic literature, William Shakespeare’s “Romeo and Juliet.” Valentine’s Day in Verona in 2023 is not only dedicated to couples, but also to people who are just in love with love! Decorations and illuminations light up the old town streets and storefront windows to guide the devoted couples through the monuments, the countless itineraries, and the activities!
Let the city’s lights serve as your guide as you make your way to Piazza dei Signori and the courtyard of the Mercato Vecchio, where you can find many vendors selling every type of local produce, including fine jewelry, handcrafted souvenirs, sweets, and goodies to enjoy with that special someone. In the course of the celebration, a number of renowned musicians and performers perform on the square’s stage, adding to the joyous atmosphere. And, overseeing it all, Dante atop his column. The entire city celebrates love during this particular time of year by hosting a variety of special events, including themed romantic dinners, book presentations, and shows.
