Each February, the heart of Verona beats with passion as the city transforms into a living ode to love. From February 11–14, 2023, Verona welcomes lovers, dreamers, and romantics for four enchanting days filled with poetry, music, and celebration in honor of Valentine’s Day.
The historic streets are adorned with luminous hearts and elegant decorations, guiding visitors through a maze of romantic encounters — from Juliet’s famous balcony to bustling markets and live performances. Verona in Love is not only for couples; it’s for anyone who celebrates the spirit of love in all its forms.
Piazza dei Signori and the courtyard of the Mercato Vecchio host open-air markets selling artisanal crafts, sweets, and jewelry — perfect for surprising someone special. Throughout the festival, music fills the air as local and international performers light up the city with their artistry.
One of the highlights is the Giulietta & Romeo Half Marathon, inviting runners to race through the city’s storied streets in a unique blend of sport and sentiment. There’s also Schermi d’Amore, a film festival dedicated to romantic cinema, held at Teatro Ristori — ideal for cinephiles seeking heart-stirring stories on screen.
