The Okeechobee Music & Arts Festival is returning to Florida’s Sunshine Grove for a third time. Get a taste of what awaits on the horizon, and try to imagine what you will discover once you arrive in Okeechobee, Florida. Sunshine Grove is the name of the beautiful land and it is divided into two main areas The Grove and Moonlight Oasis. THE GROVE is in the center of the festival grounds, the nucleus of the action, and hosts the three main stages nestled in the subtropical tree-line. Are you ready to BE, HERE, NOW?! MOONLIGHT OASIS is cultural epicenter of Okeechobee Fest; a pulsing heartbeat of creativity, art, expression and community.
The lineup is topped by headliners Arcade Fire, Bassnectar, Halsey and Travis Scott. Other stand-out acts include Khalid, Leon Bridges, The Flaming Lips, Local Natives, Sylvan Esso, Allah-Las, Hiss Golden Messenger, The Districts and more. All told, the fest’s 2018 slate is a crowd-pleasing balance of indie rock, hip-hop and electronica, with more performers still to be announced. Returning EDM heavyweight Bassnectar previously headlined Okeechobee in 2017. Other previous headliners have included Kendrick Lamar, Mumford & Sons, Skrillex, Kings of Leon, Usher & The Roots, and The Lumineers.
ChobeeWobee Village
ChobeeWobee Village is a land of lands, curated to feed the soul; inspire creativity, community, and connectedness; and awaken the festival goers inner weird… welcome to the festival within the festival! ChobeeWobee is a collection of communities all brought together to create a neighborhood to nourish the mind, body, and spirit. Participate in yoga and workshops in the daytime, discover our psychedelic tea forest hidden in the trees, enjoy intimate performances across a variety of stages, peruse homemade goods and craft items, experience live artists creating works of art right before your eyes and delve into late-night shenanigans that will entertain like you never thought possible!
Yogachobee
Yogachobee is an integral part of Okeechobee Music & Arts Festival. It is the portal-within-the-portal to the internal world of the Self. It is where we connect with our bodies, the stillness in our hearts and minds, and the pure electric bloom of our Souls. Yogachobee exists as a home, a place of returning, of integrating, restoring, inspiring, and aligning amidst the storm of magic all around. It is a space where you can always find peace. There will also be a Healing Corner with massage, some midnight music and drum circles to close out the late nights under the Full Moon. So bring your mat, bring your drum, bring your open heart and mind and come learn, play, and embody the joy of being free and alive right now on this wild and beautiful planet, together.
Aquachobee
Aquachobee is a daytime swimming, hanging and music hang zone in the heart of Moonlight Oasis. Complete with a swimming lake and real sand beach, it is your tropical wake up call. Relax at one of the palapas, have a fresh fruit smoothie with your feet in the water or take in one of the many up-and-coming musical acts on the bamboo Beach Stage. Recharge your batteries with a vast selection of food and beverage options as you lay out a towel and catch some rays. Relax, you’re on island time.
