Kabinett
The Kabinett sector presents curated exhibitions in architecturally defined spaces within galleries’ booths. These diverse curatorial concepts include thematic group exhibitions, art-historical showcases, and solo shows of rising stars.
Encounters
Dedicated to large-scale sculpture and installation works by leading international artists, Encounters offers visitors opportunities to see works transcending traditional art fair stands, displayed in prominent locations throughout the exhibition halls. Curated by Alexie Glass-Kantor, Encounters is supported by MGM Resorts Art & Culture.
Conversations
Art Basel hosts a series of dynamic conversations addressing global contemporary art topics. This platform facilitates dialogues among artists, gallerists, curators, collectors, architects, art lawyers, critics, and other cultural figures. Programmed by Stephanie Bailey, the series includes artist talks, panels, and discussions on producing, collecting, and exhibiting art.
