TALKFEST is the only international forum in Portugal dedicated exclusively to music festivals. The programme has Conferences, Seminars, Professional and Scientific Presentations, Documentaries, afterparties, exhibitions and for the third time Iberian Festival Awards and Job Fair. Be part of it! Predominantly held in the city’s Museu das Comunicações, the festival encourages discussion, cooperation and mutual development among individuals and brands from the Iberian region’s vibrant music scene.
Highlights!
Conferences: intended to analyze issues related to the music festivals industry in Portugal and Spain. 50 speakers (including international speakers) will share their knowledge about a diversity of topics.
Seminars: one of the main goals of Talkfest is Education and in this way the plan is to conduct six seminars that will complement the conferences but also add information on specific areas.
Professional and Scientific presentations: companies, agencies, promoters presentations that will present their services or projects in a networking and business to business perspective. At the scientific presentations will be presented academic studies or research papers in a knowledge sharing perspective.
Documentaries: about the music industry and music festivals.
Exhibitions: showroom of photos took in Portuguese music festivals in 2017.
Job Fair: space for placement of job proposals, internship and volunteers in the area of festivals with meetings between entities and candidates.
Iberian Festival Awards: the gala awards show will celebrate all the 2017 successes of the music festivals industry in Portugal and Spain – promoters, artists, media and service providers.
