Winter time can be so much fun! The best proof is one of the best winter electronic music festivals in Europe – Snowboxx Festival. Snowboxx is a one week long festival with great music and a number of activities. The festival has open air stages, terrace parties with great music performers. Late night club parties is inviting all people who want to have a blast in this spectacular area of France. The party this year is in the spectacular Avoriaz Ski Resort, a highly renowned ski resort that sits at the center of Portes du Soleil, in the Chablais region of Haute Savoie. Snowboxx festival will present, as always, the best beats of electronic music, with international DJs.
Stages
The Main Stage
The main stage is a full snow covered festival arena that is unlike any other you’ll ever experience. This incredibly unique setting is what makes Snowboxx one of the greatest shows on snow. The main arena is in the middle of the mountains, under the stars, making the most incredible setting for seeing some of the biggest acts in the world. Cruise down at night, enjoy a selection of bars and food while while bouncing around to your favourite acts performing on the fire bursting stage.
Après Stage
Cruise into the wildest party on the slopes where the maddest memories are made and quite commonly lost. The beers and champagne are cold, the sunsets are out of this world and the party is like no other. For 2018 Snowboxx is taking Après to the next level, with a terrace based on the best Après experiences from all over the world. Dance on the platforms and around the deckchairs to lively cover bands and Après anthems. This year, for two nights only, they will turn a terrace into the House of Après to host two very special late night parties.
Igloo Stage
The Igloo Party is an experience like no other, set on the side of the slopes overlooking the incredible sights of Avoriaz below. Wander through the ice carved caverns with DJ’s lighting up the decks while sipping on a delicious drink of your choice. The mighty Igloo has played host to some of the craziest parties Snowboxx has ever seen – expect some amazing additions for 2018!
Rock the Pistes
This mountain hopping stage sees a new location appear across the slopes each day. Helicoptering equipment and artists into the most remote locations possible across the Portes Du Soleil region. The RTP stage has had the pleasure of hosting Rag N Bone Man, Chinese Man and Caravan Palace to name a few. Expect the latest and greatest in live acts!
XX Stage
The infamous XX club is the heartbeat of the late night scene and the largest of the clubs at Snowboxx. This basement hidden gem is open all week till 3 am and features the best names from the underground scene and beyond. 2016 and 2017’s highlights were ABODE, DJ Luck and MC Neat and Monki & Friends, among many others!
