Even if you are not a cyclist, you cannot afford to miss this cycling event that takes place in Bremen every year. Held in the AWD Dome, this world class cycling event is the perfect blend of sports and entertainment. Watch the international professional cycling elite do what they do best in front of an audience that tops 120,000 over the full six day period. Then, party into the small hours with a varied entertainment programme.
The Six-Day Cycle Race in Bremen will again be the hottest ticket in town, offering its tried and tested mix of top-class cycling, sensational live music and fabulous food. Year after year, tens of thousands of spectators are spellbound by its trademark blend of sporting action, fun, thrills and live entertainmentand. Despite being a long-standing fixture in the international sporting calendar, this is an event that is always reinventing itself. Many medal-winners from the European and world championships will be taking part, but in addition to the twelve top teams there will be amateur races, sprints and races for women.
There’s plenty more to see and do in the other halls as well. For a bite to eat, Hall 2 offers a choice of food with an international flavour. Hall 3 hosts a ‘deka-dance’ party for the younger generation, whilst there will be live music performances on the concert stage in Hall 4.
Deka-dance
The Deka Dance Area in Hall 3 is completely designed in the special Club Design. This area does not have to hide from the big dance clubs in the world. Many different DJ’s bring the dancefloor to the THREE Deka-Dance nights at the SIXDAYS not only to boil, but also to cook … soulful vocals, international club sound and electronic music will bring you to the evenings. The Deka-Dance party series stands in Northern Germany for extraordinary events in a class of its own. The start was the 19th of February 2000 in the VIP area of the Weserstadion. Since then LITE LIFE organizes the Deka-Dance in unusual locations of the metropolitan region Bremen / Oldenburg.
